Knights of Honor-E. S. Chand lor, Reporter. On Su1nday two colored men in the Horeb neighborhood, Calvin HIarian and Dan Allen, becamo engaged in an altercation over a game of marbles. A fight ensued ; Allen cut Harman in the right side, on the wrists, and on the hand, when Harman wrenched the knife from him, and cut him in the side; and it is said also broke his arm. Both are laid up, Harman being dangerously wounded. Allen will be arrested to await the result. NEw ADYBRTISEMENTS.-Messrs. McMaster &Brice call on all indebt ed to them to come forward and set tlo up. A most reasonable demand. Mr. Jno. D. McCarley, of "Our House," announces that oysters in every style, together other good things in profusion, may be had at his restaurant. He also keeps on hand a full supply of choice wines, liquors, beer segars and tobacco. We omitted to call attention to tho new advertisement of B. Sugen heimer & Co., which was first pub lished a few days ago, and which will be found in this paper. Messrs. B. Sugenheimer & Co's. stores are as well supplied as over with select goods in their lines. Cole's Circus, as circuses go, is a good exhibition; consideraibly obove the averago. The clown is a great wag, and enjoys the possession of that rare faculty, originality. The Lerobatic porformance is good, especially the doublo somersault over seventeen horses. The trapeze performanco is of a high order. The olephant, the lions, the horses and the ponies are all in admirable training, and the seesaw by the ponies, Beauty and Butterily, is alone well 'worth the price of admission. The concert is not much, but, considering that it in volves the extra expenditure of only a dime, it could not be much better. Peop)le who enjoy circuses will be amply repaid by visiting this.
