The Democratic 'ClUb of Town
ship No. 4 met in the Town Hall
Tuesday evening the 21st inst., and
wastcalled to order by F. Gerig,
President, w,ho stated that the Club
had been convened in obedience to
a <ircular.from the ,County Chair,
man, General Bratton. The
resignation of J. W. Law aw a rep
resentative from the Club on thr,
County 'Executive Conmittee was
accepted, and an clection entered
ilto .to fill 'the vacaney. John J.
N6il, Esg., having reteived a nejori
ty.of .the lotes -cast, was declavel
duly elected to fill the vacancy.

The resolution was seconded by

disonssion Mr. Reynolds offered the
following as a substitute for Colonql

and endorse the nominations made
by the Democratic County Club on
the 14th July last, and pledge our
selves to do all in our power to
further the success of the Demo.

thereupon declared lost.
