Died Yesterday.
Mrs. Amy Norris, wife of C. W.
Nords died yesterday morning nt ber
home near F?rst Creek church. Mrs
Norris has boen in Ul health for about
a year and for toe last few months
no' hope, has been entertained for her
recovery. She was a sister of Albert
and Paul Crowther of Anderson and
had many relatives in other parts of
the county. The fun aral services will
take place this morning at ll o'clock

Thursday. September 17, will be a
day of considerable importance in An
derson by reason os" the fact that An
derson college will open its doors on
that date for the session of 1914-15
The faculty for thia season will be
stronger than than it baa aver been
before and officials of the institution
say that there ut on reason whv this

make a mark for Anderson college in
