thc game here this afternoon Ander
son lost it during thc latter stages,
when the Game Cocks pounded on
St'mmey for tvelvo lifts. Drulng tho
first four Innings Anderson made four
runs to the locals one, but in the fifth,
seventh and eighth, f'affney sent nine
mon around tho circle and the gnme
ended 10 to 4 in favor of thc locals.
Edison, who began the gani? for Gaff
ney, was out of. form allowing thc
visitors six hits in three innings. In
