To the Pastors of the Evangeli cal Lutheran Synod of North aro- lina—Brethren: At the last annual convention of synod, when consid ering the question of the publica tion of the history of synod, it was unanimously resolved: "That each pastor solicit subscriptions and send list of same to the pub lishing committee.” (See Min., 1901, page 34). The committee hereby announces that the book is now in course of publication and will be ready for delivery about the first of March, 1902. It will contain between 250 and 300 pages, neatly and snbstan tially bound in cloth, and will be sold at the very low price of one dollar per copy, postage extra. All pastors in the synod are here by requested to canvass their con gregations and send in their lists at an early a date as possible.
