Claudia Johnson spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Texie Johnson. Kenneth Johnson of Georgia Tech, is at home with his par ents for Christmas. Steve Wright, a student at Universi ty of South Carolina, is home for Christmas. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Tins ley’s children were home on Sunday. Holland St., died Friday at 12:45 p.m. in a Birmingham, Ala., hospital after a long ill ness. Native of Crawfordville, Ga., son of the late Thomas Francis and Laura Da v i s Hollis, he lived most of his life in Atlanta, Ga., and mov ed to Clinton early this year. He was a member of Clinton First Presbyterian Church and was an elder 44 years in Atlanta. Until he retired in 1956, he was disbursing agent at the U. S. Penitentiary in Atlanta. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Irene McCord Hollis; two daughters, Mrs. Charles E. Baker of Greensboro, N. C., and Mrs. Richard H. Smith of Birmingham; three sons, Milton O. Hollis Jr. of Tam pa, Fla., Col. Joel McCord Hollis of Norfolk, Va., and Thomas F. Hollis of Clinton; a brother, Boykin Hollis of Crawfordville; 12 grandchil dren and give great-grandchil- dfen. .
