B. Dillard, and his parents, Dr. and Mrs. John Mc Sween. Miss Emily Dillard re turned Tuesday to Greenville after spending a few days here with her mother. Pfc. Dwight L. Moody, Jr., left Monday to return to duty with the Marine Corps at Cherry Point, N. C., after spending Christmas with his parents here. Mrs. Grady Seawright and son, Grady Alva, of Pendleton, were guests Christmas Day of her dau ghter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Horton. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mann and children, Martha and Don, of Lake Wales, Fla., and Miss Miriam Templeton of Augusta, Ga., were here for the holidays with their perants, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Templeton. Pfc. Kenneth Mann has return ed to Chrery Point, N. C., where he is stationed with the Marine Corps, after a visit with his mo ther, Mrs. Durward Murdock, and Mrs. Murdock. Connie White of Dillon, is spending the week with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Hubbard. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delong White, and oth er children were also here for J£hristmas. ~ Mrs. Ollie Littlefield of Winns- boro, is the guest of Mrs. Eugene Hitt. Mrs. B. B. Kirkland of Colum bia, has been spending some time here with her daughter and son- in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Judson A. Davis. ^Mr. Kirkland joined them here for the holidays. Overnight guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Gasque were Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gasque, Miss Dorothy, Tommy, and Reaves Gasque of Marion; Mr. and Mrs. Dick Depta of Minneapolis, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. John William King and children will return today to their home in Summer ville, Ga., after spending Christ mas with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Jacobs. Also joining the family here during the holi days were Mr. and Mrs. William Shields and children of Green ville. HERE FOR HOUDAYS Miss Anne Fraser, a student in the preparatory department at Peace Junior College, Raleigh, N. C., has been spending the two weeks Christmas holidays with her parents, Dr. v and Mrs.' T. Layton Fraser. Also here during the holidays were their daugh ter, Mrs. David" E. Ross, and the Rev. Ross of Williamsburg, Va. Recent guests of Mrs. Judson A. Davis and her mother, Mrs. B. B. KirkRfnd. were Mrs. John I. Rice and Mrs. John Matheson of Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Giles will return today from Douglas, Ga., where they have been spendnig several days with relatives, going especially to attend the funeral yesterday of their nephew, James Smith of Jacksonville, Fla., who was killed in an accident on Sun day. Mrs. Raymond Pitts and Miss Agnes Davis were guests for Christmas of the former’s broth er and sister-in-law. Mr. and Mrs.. George Bultman. in Sum ter. Mr. and Mn. E. C. Edwins and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. fc. Anderson and family, along with Mr .and Mrs. William Hatton and family of Florence, went to Pendleton on Sunday for Christ mas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Anderson. Mrs. J. Hamp Stone visited her sister-in-law, Mrs. W'alter Lew is, in Hartsville for the holidays. On Tuesday Mrs. Raymond Pitts, Mrs. J. Hamp Stone and Miss Agnes Davis were guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Shands at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. R. L. Coe, in Cayce. The Shands were celebrating their 67th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Watford and ,children, Mike and Debbie, of Memphis, Tenn., spent the holidays with Mrs. Watford’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Burts. Also guests of the Burts family during the holidays were Mrs. C. C. Craddock, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Mobley of Laurens. Mr. and Mrs. John William Dillard of New York City, are spending the holidays with the former’s mother, Mrs. J. Will Dillard. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Leake were guests of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Ernest Gault, and niece, Mrs. Hubert Hendricks, in Fountain Inn during the holidays. VISIT PARENTS A2C Joseph P.
