The county supply bill as p^ed by the delegation in the closing hours of the past session of the legislature, ap pears below. The levy for the year w'as fixed at eleven mills, the same as last year. The bill includes several changes over last year and the ap propriation of $42,000 for the con struction of top-soil highways in vari ous parts of the county. The bill in full, follows: , AN ACT To provide for the levy of taxes for school and coujity purposes for 1929 for* Laurens County and to di rect the expenditures thereof. Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carloina: That a tax of eleven mills is hereby levied upon all the taxable propertly in the County of Laurens for County purposes for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1929, for the amounts and for the purposes hereinafter stated, respectively, that is to say: Item 1.
