To Waterloo Bank

at Waterloo a few days ago by which
J. C. Smith becomes president of the
Bank of Waterloo, succeeding Rex
I^anford who has resigned to re-enter
the mercantile business. It is under
stood that Mr. Lanford .sold his stock
! in the bank and bought the stock of
! goods formerly owned by the J. C.
Smith store. It is announced that he
will add to this .stock and conduct a
general mercantile business.
