The town authorities of Fort Mill have decided to allow the discharge of firecrackers and other fireworks in town on December 25 and 26 in celebraion of the Christmas holidays. The attendance at the night school for adul liberates which opened rier eral nights ago at the- Fort Mill graded school was decidedly encouraging to those in charge. The school will run for several months and it is thought that the enrollment will be augmented by a number of addilonal pupils after the Christmas holidays. The statement was made las night that the Improvement of the Steel ?reek road probably would not be completed ~ beforo March 1. W. B. Meacham and Arthur C. Lytle spent Monday In Columbia attending a good roads meeting whioh had been called by Governor Harvey. A good roads associaion was formed ai a result of the meeting and a full sec 0 of officers elected, including g vice president for each of the State's seven congressional districts. The vice president for the 6th congressional district is Col . T. B. Spratt * of Fort Mill.
