warden of South Carolina. A copy
of this letetr has been sent to all
game wardens. The letter is as follows:

To all Game Whrdens:
Now that the boll weevil is here
it becomes doubly important to protect
our insectivorous birds in the interest
of ohr farmers and diversified

Well have these birds been termed
the "Policemen of the Air/* and without
them we would be overwhelmed
with noxious weeds-and loathsome Insects.

If parents will not train their childw
ren .to spare o^r ' robins, sparrows,
warblers, blue birds, buull bats, swallows,
martins, fly catchers and other
feathered friend^ they force us to have
them arrested and tried by our magistrates.

Be firm in enforcing this law just
is strictly as the game laws themselves.
