A SILVER WEDDING.
Dr. and Mrs. J. K. Gilder C-lebrate The
Twenty-Fifih Anniversary of
Their Marriage.
Dr. and Mrs. J. K. Gilder on Fri
day evening, the 18th, celebrated
the twenty-fifth anniversary of their
marriage. The decorations were
very beautiful. The handsome and
spacious home was in gay Christ
mas attire, each room being wreath
edl and garlanded in holly and mis
tletoe. Numerous palms and ferns,
with great masses of crimson car
nations dlotted here and there, added
to the beauty of the scene. Brillhant
electric lights, shiniing through red
shades, lent a roseate glow.
In the dining room the color
scheme of red was further carried
out. From the chandelier to the
four corners of the table were stream
ers of red satin ribbon, caught
with holly. A tail vase of crimson
carnations and ferns formed the
cenitrepiece.
About onie hiundredl guests en
joyed the charnmig hlospi[mlit y of
D)r. and Mrs. Gilder. An elegami
hot suppiher was served. TI be puni~ch
