by a prostration of tho nervous system. Numerous

them tested, but without relief. Your Hoofland's Ger

tried them, and whose favorable mention of the Bitters
induced me also to try them. I must confess that I had
an aversion to patent medicines, from the "thousand
and one" quack "Bittere," whoso only aim sccnis to be
to palm oflr sweetened and drugged liquor upon the com
munity, in a sly way; and the tendency of which, I
fear, is to, make many a confirmed drunkard. Upon
learning that yours was really it medicinal preparation,
