Cunningham delegates to represent Lancaster county in the Farmers' National congress, which meets at Richmond, Va., Sept. 12th to 22nd, inclusive. ? Dr. T. J. Strait lost a valuable mule last Thursday. It was either gored by his bull or ran a snag into its bowels while running in the pasture. This is the second mule the doctor has lost within the past year from a similar injury. ?We are requested to announce that the Antioch club of the Cot ton Growers Association will meet next Friday night, and that all farmers of that vicinity, whether members or not, arc requested to attend the meeting.
