? Dr. T. J. Strait lost a valuable
mule last Thursday. It was
either gored by his bull or ran
a snag into its bowels while running
in the pasture. This is the
second mule the doctor has lost
within the past year from a similar
injury.

that the Antioch club of the Cot
ton Growers Association will
meet next Friday night, and that
all farmers of that vicinity, whether
members or not, arc requested
