Fort Mill, Dec. 1?Monday
night at a dance held in a negro
bouse on the farm of Mr T H
Merrett about a mile north of
town, Sum Henry, a negro about
39 years old, was shot as ho was
1 leaving the bouse and instantly
killed. None of the negroes will
tell anything about who did the
shooting, claiming that there was
no trouble pr fuss and that Sam
had started home and got just out
of the door when ho was shot bv
some one outside with a shotgun.
