Florida Lands for Sale.
'"I^IIE following valuable Tracts of LAND, lying in
jL Marion and Alachma counties, will be ofll-red at
private sale during the months of October, November
and December, next, viz: " Wetcmpka Hammock,"
situated about ten miles North of Ocala, (the County
Seat of Marion Counry,) containing ii.OUO acres, about
one half of which is hammock, unsurpassed by any in
the State, and the remainder White Oak and Hickory
land.
A TRACT, weil known as the "Foit Dranc" Plantation,
containing 3,000 acres of Land, principally first
quality hammock, between four and five hundred
acres of which arc thoroughly cleared and at present
in cultivation. Thia place fbr several years averaged
two hogsheads of Sugar to the acre, and every year that
it has been cultivated has produced lino crops of Corn
and Cotton. These tracts could readily bo divided into
two or three plantations, each being surrounded by
high rolling pine land.
A TRACT of 1,000 acres on Orange Lake, consisting
of hammock, orange grove and well-tintbercd pine
land.
TWO TRACTS of 1,000 each, near the Alchua
Prairie. The greater part of these tracts is rich hammock.
Also, 5,000 acres on Indian river. Any ono wishing
to cultivate Sugar Cane would do well to examine this
land, as, being remarkably fertile, and lying south of
tho region oflrost, it is as well adapted to that culture
as any in the United States.
12,000 acres, generally known as tho " Bayard
Tract," situated on the St. John's lliver, opposite
Picolata. There are many small hammocks and orange
groves on this tract, but it is principally valuable for
its pin timber. It has a river front of 7 or 8 miles.
1.000 acres on Lake George, and several small tracts
t_i and near the St. Johu's river, well situated for farming,
tho rearing ol" orange groves, &c.
The above tracts of Land were purchased by the
late Gen. Clin *h immediately after the accession of
Florida to the United States. From his position tit
that time, his tacilities for selection were unusually
great, and it is bi licved they include as good land as
can be found in tho State.
On Hi-count ol their accessibility from Charleston
anil Savannah, tlioy ofl'cr great inducements tu plantors
in Carolina and Georgia wishing u> remove.
The titles are clear and indisputable.
_ Terms cash, or payable at Charleston or Savannah,
011 or before the lirst of January.
Any further information on the subject, can bo obtained

Theirpoiccr over the above diseases is not excelled?if

the aires attest, in many cases after skilful physicians j
d failed. ,
Fhese Bitters are worthy the attention of invalids. Pos- (
sing great virtues in the rectification of diseases of the
ver and lesser glands, exercising the most searching 1
ivers in weakness and affections of the digestive organs, ]
sy are withal safe, certain and pleasant.
READ AND BE CONVINCED.
From the " Boston Bee."
The editor said, Dec. 22nd
Dr. llooffand's Celebrated German Bitters for die cure
Liver Complaint, Jaundice, Dyspepsia. Chronic or Ner- i
us Debility, is deservedly one of the most popular medi- (
icsof the day. These Bitters have been used by thouids.
and a friend at our elbow says lie has himself reived
an effectual and permanent cure of Liver Complaint 1
mi the use of this remedy. We are convinced that, in 1
> use of these Bitters, the patient constantly gains <
ength and vigor?a fact worthy of great consideration,
icy are pleasant in taste and smell, and can be used by
rsons with the most delicate stomachs with safety, un
r any circumstances. We are speaking from experience
<1 to the afflicted we advise their use.
" Scott's Weekly," one of the best Literary papers
blished, said, Aug. 25?
" I3r.. Hooi'land's German Bitters,manufactured by
.Jackson, are now reronimended by some of the most
iniiuent members of the faculty as an article of much
icacy in cases of female weakness. As such is the ease,
? would advise all mothers to obtain a bottle, and thus
ve themselves mum sickness. Persons of debilitated j
ristituiions will firm these Bitters advantageous to their '
altli as we know from experience the salu'ary effect j
on weak systems."
MORE EVIDENCE.
The Hon. c. D. Hinelink. Mayor of the City of ('atari,
N. J., says :
" TIooflanVs German Bitters?We have seen ma ;
flattering notices of this medicine, and the source front
hicli they came induced us to ntnke inquiry respecting j
merits. From inquiry we were persuaded to use it, and '
tst say we found it specific in its action upon diseases
the liver and digestive organs, and the powerful infillce
it exerts upon nervous prostration is really surprising,
calms and strengthens the nerves, brirging them into a
itc of repose, making sleep refreshing.
u If this medicine was more generally used, we are
llsfied there would be less sickness, as from the stomach,
er. and nervous system the great majority of real and
d imaginary diseases emanate. Have them in a healv
condition, and you can bid defiance to epidemics genillv.
Thisextraordinary medicine We would advise our
ends who are at all indisposed, to give a trial?it will

$500 CHALLENGE,
WHATEVER concerns the health and happiness of a
people is at all times of the most importance. I take
it for granted that every person will do all in their power,
to save the lives of their children, and that every person
will endeavor to promote their own health at all sacrifices.
I feel it to be myduty to solemnly assure you that WORMS,
according to the opinion of the most celebrated Physicians, ?
are the primary catises.of a large majority of diseases to
which children and adults are liable; if you have anap- *
petite continually changeable from one kind of food to
another. Bad Breath, Pain in tho Stomach, Picking at the
Nose, Hardness and Fullness of the Belly, Dry Cough, v
Slow Fever. Pulse Irregular?remember that all these ae- *?1
note WORMS, and you should at once apply t}ie remedy.?
XIOBEKSACK'S WORM SYRUP.

with purely vegetable substances, being perfectly safe
when taken, and can be given to the mcst tender Infant
with decided beneficial effect, where Bowel Complaints
and Diarrhoea have made them weak and debilitated the
Tonic properties of my Worm Syrup are puch, that it
stands without an equal in the catalogue of medicines in
giving tone and strength to the Stomach, which makes it
an Infallible remedy tor those afflicted with Dyspepsia, the
astonishing cures performed by this Syrup after PhysicidnS
have failed, is the best evidence of its superior efficacy
overall others.
THE TAPE WORM!
This is the most difficult Worm to destroy of all thatirifest
the human system, it grows to an almost Indefinite)
length becoming so coiled und fastened in the Intestines
and Stomach effecting the health so sadly as to cause Ft;
Vitus I'ance, Fits, &c..tlmt those afflicted seldom if ever
suspect that it is Tape Worm hastening them to an early
grave. In order to destroy this Worm, a very energetic ?.
treatment must be pursued, it Would therefore be proper
to take 6 to 8 of nty Liver Pills so as to remove all obstruct
tions, that the Worm Syrup may act direct upon the.Worm, "
which must be taken in doses of 2 Tuhlespoonfulls 3 times
a day these directions followed have never been known to
fail in curing the most obstinate case of Tape Worm.
IIOBEYSACK'S EIVER PILLS.
No part of the system is more liable to disease than the
L1VKU, it serving as a filtererto purify the nlood, or giving
the proper secretion to the bile; so that any wrong action
of the Liver effects the other important parts of the system,
and icsults variously, in Liver Complaint, Jaundice;
Dyspepsia &e. We should, therefore, watch every symptom
that might indicate a wrouir action of the Liver.
These Pills being composed of ROOTS <fc PLANTS furnished
by nature to Irnal the sick Namely, 1st, An EXPECTORANT,
which augments the secretion from the
Pulmonary mucus membrane, or promotes the discharge of
secreted matter. 2nd. An ALTERATIVE, which chauges
in some inexplicable and insensible manner the certain
morbid action of the system. 3rd, A TONIC which gives
tone and strength to the nervous system, renewing health
and vigor to all parts of the body. 4th, A CATHARTIC,
which acts in perfect harmony With the other ingredients,
and operating on the Bowels, and expelling the whole ^
massot corrupt and vitiated matter, und purifying the
Blood, which destroys disease and restores health.
TO FEMALES.

complaints to which yon are subject. In obstructions
either total or partial, they have been found of inestimable
benefit, restoring their functional arrangements to a
healthy action, purifying the blood and other fluids so effectually
to put to flight all complaints which may arise
