York. January 26, 1850. What could be more
conclusive ?
"It is seldom we permit ourselves, to occupy
a space in these columns to speak in praise of any
article in the patent mebicine way: but when we
see the life of a fellow-creature saved by the use of
any medicine whatever, we consider it as our
right, it not our duty, to give a simple statement
of facts, that others may, in like manner, be benefitted.
The case which has induced us to pen
this article was that ofa young-lady ofour acquaintance,
who by frequent exposure to the night air.
contracted a Cold which settled on the Lungs before
its ravages could be stayed. (This occurred
two years ago this winter) Various remedies '
were used, but with very little effect or benefit ?

liappy to state she was perlectlytured in less than I
