Novel Exportation.?Among other commodies
comprising the cargo of a vessel which
left New York last week, for Chagres, was a
consignment of one hundred cats, for the Cnli
k fornia aud Oregon markets. This will not he
P considered so very singular when it is known
that in Oregon it is not uncommon to exchange
a horse for a cat, as horses and mice are plentiful
there, hut cats are verv scarce.
