from one simple cause?namely
A Derangement of tl e Nervous System.
In NERVOUS COMPU INTS. Drugs and Medicine*
increase the dieeaie, for they we ken the vitul energies of the
already prostrated system ; wh'le under the strengthening,
life-giving, vitalising influence of Galvanism, as applied by
this beautiful and wonderful din overv, the exhausted patient
nd weakened sufferer is rastorid to former health, strength,
elasticity and vigor.
The great peculiarity and exec lence of
Dr. Christie's Galvanic Curatives,
consists, in the fact that they arrest and cure disease by out
ward application, in place oi the usual mode of drugging and
phvaieking the patient, till exliau ted Nature sinks hopelessly
under the infliction.
They otrenflkeu the tchole lyslot, equalize the circulation of
the blood, promote the tecrelions, an ' never do the tlighletl injtiry
myjir any circuwutancee. Since their introduction in the
United States, only three years sii ce, more than
60,000 P ersons
including all ages, classes and corditions, among which wet*
e large number of ladies, who are peculiarly subject to Nerr
ous Complaints, hsve been
ENTIRELY AND PERMANENTLY CURED,
when all hope of relief had beer given up, and every thing
else been tried in vain
To illustrate the use of the GA1 YANIC BELT, suppoie
the case of of arson afflicted wit that bane of civilization,
DYSPEPSI A, or any other ( hrotii' or Nervous Disorder. In
ordinary cases, stimulants are taken whieh, by their action on
the nerves and muscles of the stoin ch, afford temporary relief
tut which leave the patient in a low er state, and w ith injured
faculties, alter the action thus exc 'ted has ceased. Now compare
this with the effect resulting fiom the application of the
GALVANIC BELT. Take a Dyspeptic sufferer, even in the
wojse symptoms of an attack, and "(imply tie the Belt around
the body, using the Magnetic kit. d at diiected. In a short
period the insensible pcrspiratioi will act on the positive
element of the Kelt theteby cau iug a Galvanic circulation
which will paai on to tha negativi and thence back again to
the positive, thua keeping up a c< ntmuoua Galvanic circulation
throughout the system. Tli# the most severe cases of
DYSPEPSIA are PERM AN ENTL", CURED. A YEW DAYS
IS OFTEN AMPLY SUFFICIENT TO ERADICATE THE
DISEASE OF YEARS.

Mkssiih. Scovii.i. A: Mkaii: I have been troubled with
the chronic rheumatism for the last twelve years. On the
1st of July. 1811), 1 was so Lad that I could not turn myself
in bed, and the pain so severe that I had not slept a w ink
for six davs. At this time my attending physician prescrilied
the "Hebrew Plaster," and it acted like a charm : the
pain left me, and I slept more than half of the night, and in
three days 1 was able to ride out. 1 consider the "Hebrew
Plaster" the best remedy for all sorts of pains now in use.
