For the Removal and Permanent Cure of all

Dr. CHRISTIE'S GALVANIC BELT

is used with the most perfect and certain success in ah

GENERAL. DEBILITY,
Strengthening tlw weakened body, giving tone to the various
organs, and invigorating the entire system. Also in KITS,

increase the disease, for they we ken the vital energies of the
already prostrated system ; wh'le under the strengthening,
life-giving, vitalizing influence of Galvanism, as applied by
this beautiful and wonderTuI dm every, the exhausted patient
end weakened sufferer is restond to former health, strength,
elasticity and vigor.
The great peculiarity and exce lence of
Dr. Christie's Galvanic Curatives,
consists, in the fact that they arrest and cure disease by suf
ward application, in place of the usual mode of dragging and
physicking the patient, till exhau ted Nature sinks hopelessly
under the infliction.
They strengthen the whole systett, equalise the circulation of
the hlood, promote the secretions, an ' never do the slightest injury
under any circumstances. Sine* their introduction in the
United States, only three years sii ce, more than
60,000 Persons
including all ages, classes and cotditiona, among which warn
a large number of ladies, who arepaeutlarty subject to Narv
oos Complaints, have been
ENTIRELY AND PERMANENTLY CURED,
when all hope of relief bad beer given up, and every thing
else been tried in vain !
To illustrate the use of the GA1 VANIC BEI.T, suppose (

DYSPEPSIA, or any other ("broni or Nervous Disorder, la
ordinory cases, stimulant* are taken, which, by their actinn on
the nerves and muscles of the stom ch, afford temporary relief
but which leave the patient in a lower state, and with injured
faculties, alter the action thus exe'ted has ceased. Now compare
this with the effect resulting from the application ol the
GALVANIC BELT. Take a Dyipeptic sufferer, even in the
worse symptoms of an attack, and simply tie the Belt around
the body, using the Magnetic Klc d as directed. In a short
period the insensible persniratioi will act on the positive
element of the Belt, thereby cau ing a Galvanic circulation
which will pass on to the ncgativi and thence back again to
the positive, thus keeping up a ct ntinuous Galvanic circulation
throughout the system. Th?> the most severe cases of
DYSPEPSIA are PERM A NENTL', CURED. A EEW DAYS
18 OFTEN AMPLY SUFFICIENT TO ERADICATE THE
DISEASE OF YEARS.
CERTIFICATES AND TESTIMONIALS

AN EXTRAORDINARY CASE,

1U. A. H. Chhu nr?Dear Sir You wish to know of roe
what has been the . tsult in my ov n ease, of the application ol
TUK GALVANIC BELT AND N ECKLACE. My reply is as
follows:
For about twenty yean I had I een fullering from Dys pep.
*ia. Every year the symptoms became worse, nor could I
obtain permanent relief from any course of medical treatment
whatever. About fovrtcrn yeai since, in consequence of
frequent exposure to the weather in the di-charge of my pastoral
duties, 1 became subject t< a severe Chronic Rheumatism,
which for year after yea , caused me indesci.'iable
anguLli. Farther: in the winter jf '46 and '46, in consequence
ol preaching a great deal in my own and various other
iiinrches in this region, I was attacked by the Bronchitis,
which soon became so severe as to require an immediate suspension
of my pastoral labors. My nervaut tytltm ieat now
thoroughly jtroitrated, and as my Bronchitis became worse, so
also did my Dyspepsia and Rheui atic affection?thus evincing
that these disorders were connected with each other through
the medium of the Nervous Syst m. In the whole pharmacopeia
there seemed to be no i' medial agent which could
reach and recunerate my Nervou System ; every thing that 1
had tried for this purpose had < omplctcly failed. At last I
was led by my friends to examine vour inventions, and (though
with no vcrv sanguine hopes of Keir efficiency,) I determined
Jo try the ed'ect of th* applicatio of the GALVANIC BELT
AND NECKLACE, with the MAGNETIC FLUID. This was
in June, 1846. To sir nar.st a si oniahmrnt, iw two nsrs mt

A ci niiuon error exists in the mindsofmany
students relative to the place of studying medicine;
those who intend practicing among the diseases of
