Every year the symptoms became worse, nor could 1
obtain permanent relict from any course of medical treatment
whatever. About frurtcen ye si since, in consequence of
frequent exposure to the weather in the discharge of my pastoral
duties, I became subject k a severe Chronic RhenmaUsm,
which for year after yee , caused me indescribable
anguish. Farther: in the winter jf '4$ and '46. in consequence
of preaching a great deal in my own and various other
church** in this region, I ?n attacked by the uroncniut,
which aoon became ao severe at to require on immediate suspension
of my pastoral labors. My nerteus system was new
Merengiiy proitiated, and as my Bronchitis became worse, so
aleadia my Dyspepsia and Rhem atic affection?thus evincing

the medium of the Nervous Syst an. In the whole pharmacopoeia
