The strikers have been grunted the increase of pay and reduction of hours asked by the men, but refused to recognize the Union. Three American oil companies* operating in Mexico have been robbed of " about sjxty thousand dollars within the lust week. It is said that Mexican officials were implicated' in two of the robberies. The strike of Ihe actors in New York, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and other cities has been won by the strikers.
