Mt. Croghan defeated Ruby in a
slow game of baseball last Saturday
afternoon at Mt. Croghan, by a score
of 8 to 6. The only feature of the
game was the pitehing of J. S. Mcgregor,
of Ruby, for Mt. Croghan. It
seems that Mt. Croghan was out of
pitchers and they had to have one of
Ruby's own men to pitch before they
would play. Had it not been for the
pitching of McGregor the game would
have gone to Rubjr by a large score.
