Dr. Anna Howard Shaw, honorary
president of the National American
Womens Suffrage Association, died at
her home in Moyln, Pa. She was 71
years of ago.

REVENUE OFFICER SHOT
BUT GETS HIS MAN
"Jack" Fannin, a revenue officer
with headquarters in Columbia, was
fired on by Joseph M. Warren, a farmer
of Saluda County, last Thursday.
Fannin was seriously hurt and
