QIRL! ITS YOUR

Their Corns.
Watch your step! A brisk, lively

step is what charms more than lovely

| * corns and you limp a little. That's
bod, girls, and you know it. Corns
destroy beauty and (race, besides
corns are very easy to remove.
Rid your feet of every corn by asking
at any drug store for a quarter of
an ounce of freesono. This will cost
little but is sufficient to remove every
Hk, \ hard or soft oom or callus from one's
y.feet.
k A few drops applied directly upon

root and all, lifts right out without
pain.
This freosone is a gummy substance
which dries instantly and simply
shrivels up the corn without inflaming
of oven irritating the sur*
rounding skin.
Women must hoop in mind that
cornless foot crests a youthful step
which enhances her attractiveness.

; GLAD TOTESTIFY
Says Watoga Lady, "At To Wliat
Cardoi Hat Done For Me, So
At To Help Othert."
i
i Watoga, W. Va.?Mr?. S. W. Glad well,
of this town, says: "When about 15 years
of age, I suffered greatly ... Sometimes
would go a month or two, and I had
terrible headache, backache, and bearingdown
pains, and would Just drag and
had no appetite. Then ... it would last
. .. two weeks, and was so weakening,
and my health was awful.
My mother bought me a bottle of
Cardui, and I began to improve after
taking the first bottle, so kept it up till I
took three... I gained, and was well
and strong, and I owe it all to Cardui.
I am married now and have 3 children
. .. Have never had to have a doctor for
female trouble, and Just resort to Cardui
if I need a tonic. I am glad to testify to
what it has done for me, so as to help
others."
If you are nervous or weak, have headaches,
backaches, or any of the other
ailments so common to women, why not
give Cardui a trial? Recommended by
many physicians. In use over 40 years.
Begin taking Cardui today. It may
ba the very medicine you need.

HAVE TO BE BROKEN IN
It might be said of the late Senator
Tillman that he went to the Senate
to scoff and remained to pray.
The Senate undoubtedly exercises
that sort of influence over most men
who remain in it any length of time.
It softens and mellows. Tillman came
champing in from South Carolina a [
quarter of a century ago with a
"pitchfork" reputation, a Hotspur of
the South breathing lire. He died one
of the gentlest of Senators, a devotee
of precedent and seniority.
The Senate has a way of making
Senators conform. When they do
they find it a very pleasant club, but
until they do the going can be made
very uneven for them. Most Senators
decide after a little to go along.
They can accomplish most that way
with the most personal satisfaction.
In conforming they sometimes find
themselves changed from radicals to
conservatives, and perhaps are a lit
tie surprised at it, hut its a natural
transformation. It is helped along
by age and sedentary habits.
GKRMAN FEARS OF FAILURE
#
Geneva, duly IK. The newspaper
Democrat!', which is usually well informed
upon German affairs, declares
that the latest, information from
across the Rhine shows mixed feelings
in Germany regarding the new
offensive. While there is hope of
victory and an early peace, there arc
also secret fears of failure, which are
only whispered, the advices assert.
