late Jacob Rivers, died at the
home of her son, Lee Rivers a t

stationed at McBee, was in
town this week and reports considerable
activity in his office
during the past week, h iving
served six warrants in that period:
two for carrying concealed
weapons; one for passing a bogus
check; ono charged with selling
liquor; two for disposing of
mortgaged property. These
cases came before Magistrate
W. N. Lee. The carrying concealed
weapon cases were tried
and defendants were found guilty
and lined $20 each.
