Judge Mauldin made a favorable impression, as he is a very courteous and patient oflicial, and seems to be a man of spendid ability. Mr. J. M. His many friends are always glad to see hinu We are glad that Mr. J. W. Miller, of Jefferson, was drawn as one of the hold-over Graud Jurors for next year. Mr. Miller has been foreman of the Grand Jury for the past year and lias proved to be a capable man in a responsible position. The Hilly Collins Big Show has been in Chesterfield all week. It is not such a big show, but it is a good one, and for the price of admission, 10 cents, good measure is given.
