BEUTON?Etheridge Williams,
(14, is being held on an open charge
pending further investigation into
the death of J. T. Henry, 26.
Police Chief J. B. Land said
Williams reported that the two
men had engaged in a fight earlier.
I Police said that Henry had been
"[Visiting in the home of an aunt,
Mrs. Hattie McDavid, and that
|they received a call late Tuesday--j~
[saying there was a fight going on
(at the McDavid home. When offi?
leers arrived, they found Henry
I apparently drunk in a wood house
[and they left him there when the
(McDavid woman told them Henry

house when drunk.
The McDavid woman phoned

that Henry was in "bad shape." He
