Through the untiring efforts of the pastor we now have a newpool which was recently installed. The back ground scene, a picture of tht river Jordan is a sight to behold. The Lincoln High School held Commencement Ser\*ce Sunday at 3:00 P.M. at the St. Paul A.M.E. Qhurch, the pastor Dr. Duhart was the guest speaker. Quite a few of Mrs. Cotton's friends were present to help her enjoy the 'party. Roberta Burnett Bessie Edwards, Augusta Edward and 'Hilda Winn assisted Mrs. , Barbee in serving punch, cake " and sandwiches. The dining table was covered with a lace cloth, tfoe center was the birthday cake with lighted candles. All presents were placed on the table and opened by Mrs. Rubv Jones. 1 attended the graduation of their Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Perry son, Alfred at A. & T. College, Greensboro, N. C. on Monday. The Supt. and her staff were at their post. After devotion classes were arranged. No. I class taught by Mr. Wade Trapp, No. 2 by Miss Carolyn Smith, primary by Mrs. Estell Boyd, Bible class by Rev. Weathers. All classes were reviewed by the pastor which was very interesting and enjoyed. Class No. 1, finance banner, $2.10, Mr. Trapp teacher. Total finance, $4.93. M., Boyd offered prayer.
