I _ Qur morning worship began in ? , the usual manner following the regular order of service. The Senior choir of which Mr. M. S. Grant is ohbrister, furnished the music for the day. Prayer was given l>y Rev. Campbell and the Scripture lesson taken from Psalms 37:12 was read by Rev. Stroble. ^. i. t ? Aside from being blessed with having a beautiful day in which to worship, we were highly honored with having as our guest minister, . Rev Ti. Ti Farmer, Presiding Flld er of the Mt. Pleasant District.-Rev.. Farjnei\ lirought r greetings from all of the other churches in the district and expressed his glad ness in coming-to Morris Brown Church. His sermon was most dynamic and encouraging. The text of his sermon was taken from 126 Psalm, 37 verse. The theme of -j > M ,which was "The Lord Hath Done Great Things For Us Wherefore We Are Glad." In his inspiring ser mon, Rev. Farmer mentioned a few , of the many things that the Lord, .1 # ? .lid*, none iw??amoog?t-rterm* being; He has given us freedom of religion to worship as we please. He has brought tis up from sla- : very to a free people who have j cade and who will continue to pro press as~tong as we haive the Lord i on nnr side. We enjoyed his scr- ~ mon so much because it was so practical and realistic and one that ??reached the entll'V congregation. The invitational hymn was led by Rev, Quarles. Jesus' Blood Can Make .You Whale.. It was quite an impressive sight to behold various gfOUOS standing <i11 over the church acknowledging the day Jesus made theni^wholo as the pas tor went through every day of the week while singing the song. The spirit was truly in Morris Brown Church. Members of Usher Board No. 2 donated their service* today. Flow ers for the pulpit were - donated and arranged by members of th<> _ Floral Club.
