After this Mrs Ethel Mae J Jackson, the granddaughter of Mrs. Kelly1 had a Bible quizz on the Kings and Prop hets of the Bible. This was interesting. Mrs. Susan Kelly won first prize and Mrs. Estell Kelly won second prize. Song by Mrs. Kizzie Bailey. "Lead Me And Guide Me." .After this the guests were served (>y Mri Elnora Javis. First wine was served and everyone dranked a toast ?to-Mrs. Kelly. Then plates were served with baked hnm and potato- _ ' es salad on lettuce, pickles and hot rolls. FLORENCE NEWS The funeral seivices for Mr, King Emanuel Miller?was helil on Monday, February 1 1, at .'1:0(1 p. m. at the Salem Methodist Church. Mr. King Emanuel Miller, the only son born to the wedlock of the late Gabriel and Chrissie Miller, was born April 17, 1880, ami departed this life Feb. 12, 1955 at McCleod's Infirmary. In 190? he married Mattle Toby, to this union was born' fourteen children ten of whom'are now livihg. In his early life .he joined Sa[ lem Methodist Church, where he | was a class .leader and secretary 1 of the church for many years until he moved away from the community in 1937. l^OMUiyer, in 194'J his health began failing him, but he remained a lively and lovely person. The bereaved family has our deepest sympathy in the passing of their loved one.
