(Makes G servings) j
1 '/j quarts hot water 1 medium-sized carrot, finely
4 slices bacon, diced chopped

V/2 cups spl.t peas > i tuna.
I large onion, chopped \ drained
Combine water, bacon, peas and onion: bring to boil over
medium heat. Cover and continue cooking over low heat 1 '/i !
hours; add carrot, salt and pepper and continue cooking 1 hour.
Break tuna into large pieces with a fork and add to soup mixture;
heat to serving temperature. I
