Hammitt, principal oi Fairfax colored high school, attended the Solith Carolina Annual conference of the AME church held at Mt. Zion church in Charles ton. He reported a very successful conference both financially and spiritually. He was returned to St. John station at Tillmon.Rev. J. P. Fuller has been returned to tne Fairfax charge. Regular ^reaching services were at Hodges CME church, ltev. I. ?R: Ri ffins ihe pastor preached the mornrng sermon. A literary program was held in the evening. The first six weeks of Fairfax colored high school ended Wednes day November 10th. All pupils received their report cards Monday. Nov. 15th.
