Saturday, Octotrer 9, 1943 The Woman's Disti Of The Pee Dee As This Convention met in, its 33rd annual, session August 21-23 id. We met m its birthplace Pee Doe Union -Baptist church, Cheraw, Cheraw, is. C. This organisation was born in the \ninds of the late Dr. I. W.' Williams, then living "ih ChOiW; tft#;ihfeRev. A. R. Bacote, thon residing in Society Hill and the honorable Dr. F. W. Prince, now living1 ih Cheraw. Thirty-three years ago they called soine of the women of the Pee Dee Section together . and suggested their thougnt of such an organization. The women gladly accepted the suggestion and began working under the program outlined by these noble Christian ministers and they have faithfully, honestly- and loyally worked these thirty-three years.
