at St. Peter A.M.E. church Dec. 28.
1942. Dr. E.A. Parker, the presiding
EMer of the Orangeburg District
presided.
He tohl the ministers, laymen,
and women of the District1 of the
splendid work that they had done
in the past conference year. He
?aid that he felt proud-to-toe--tire
presiding Elder of this District
because of the splendid coopera
lion given him by every one on
the District. He told of the great
task that lies before the District
in 194.1, and said lie had no doubt
that much greater work would not
he accomplished this year,
A fear making those remark* DP.
Parker then read thirteen resolu_
tions which the District adopted
readily. All of the -('solutions were
aimed to help build a bigger and
tx'tter district.
Dr. Parker then introduced the
new ministers who came to the |
