The revival meeting ha? entered

Bu,pti?t church and the Rev. Coker
is preaching the word of God with
so much force that he is running
sin out of the hearts of many. Sunday
morning at 11 o'clock Rev, H
B. Mitchell preached out of his
soul from St. Lukt 2:10. The spirit
was high as the doore of the
church were opened.

"A sinner woman." Collection

hope and pray that they will con
tituic tu have much success^
Through Rev. Coker's preaching,
many souls will cry out?to?Godnnrl
th:.{ mu.'h good will be none.
The meeting has also entered
the second week at Tabernacle
Baptist church. The evangelist is
preaching out of his soul anil calling
men to God. On Sunday morn

reports came in irom tne various
departments of the church request

year. Long live the Bishop and
presiding elders of A. M. E. church
for ther wise- .choice of church
leadership.
Please let us remind -you that
Weston Chappl is all set looking
for the great Piedmont rally for
-the aged home, to be held here
Sunday evening at 3 o'clock. Come
on. come all.
Now- I wish to say this in regards
to the churches. The battle
against sin began raging in tinspring
of the year, and almost as
soon as the spring revivals closed,
the revivals started in the county^
From there the minister,, turned
right bark-to the city-for the-great
fall revivals. It seems that the annual
conference will close the revival
meetings for this year, and

to hold to their.. sin . and there are
tho"se who are filled up with hvoo
crisy and show by their ways and
actions that they will not consider
God's word. "Dear" unto their
souls. I am beginning to" wonder
if we are the seed of that nation
which said, "Who is God that I
should obey Him?" All the wonder
ful works of God i~; not enough
for us.
The famine in the Avest a few
' vears ago was not enough, the war
in Europe is not e ncrugh, and s o
far, the drv earth in this state is
net?ervemgbr- How-longwill thesectvili^ed
people sin against God?
Let us all stop friends beforrC- we
have to say, "Behold the earth is
oim hope is lost."
