It's a burning shame to see so many people make it for nothing. It seems that good nun who would put this mon ey to use cannot qualify. On the Other hand any' number of these good for nothing young men get these position* with good salaries and use the money in buying second hand automobiles, drinking liquor, and indulging in all forms of evil destructive to themselves and race. It does seem that we should by profited by experiences. There was plenty of money in cir culation during the World's War but the reaction was terrible. Aa I see it it's going to be worst af llii< war tVvin in the history o?_ the world. These young Negroes who are receiving this war money should buy homes educate their children and lay up for a rainy day. They will be made to shed tears or their foolish extrava ? gance, ? TKAIMTIUNAL CONVERSION It is pathetic when you take in consideration the standard which many old church members hold and their qualification for church fo<- the conversion of young folk membership. Many of them claim that to be converted one must roll on the. church floor all nitc. While , others claim they must see a white baby as their experience for conversion. As the . young people can not see any sence nor reason in such a nonsensical experience they are turning their backs on God and the church and pcivg south by the wholesale. The e is absolutely nothing in the Bible to support such an argument given by" these old church members for qualification of conversion. And the quicker they instructing the young' people, more o them will come to Christ. We dare not doubt the conversion of our parents and grandparents.. at. the age-ia .which they lived. Certainly they are truly converted ar.d did everything that they are advising the young people to do now. But they must remember that none those things saved them. It was only when they believed their souls were saved. Now the young people can believe without all of that other experience of their foreparents and be saved just the same. The greatest need <if. this age is intelligent consecrated ministers to teach" conversion as is shown in God's -word and scores of people will come to Christ.
