was launched there against

closed in great triumph over the
Devil. From there he was dis

at (Hover's Chapel A. M. E.
church, where he conducted anoth
er great " vival.- It was well at
tended also a host of white
friends were present each night.
Three were added to the church
proclaiming Church and one baby
was baptized.

Sunday morning at 10 o'clock
the S. S. assembled with the Supt
Mr. C. -H?Evans and his faculty
at heir post of duty. The lesson
was well discussed and many fine
points were brought out. At 11
o'clock the Pastor, Rev. H. B.
Mitchell ascended the rostrum and
preached a most powerful sermon
from the subject: And when he
had spent all there arose a mighty
famine. H? layed much stress on
the dissatisfaction of man. It was
?young people's day and was boau
tiful to hear the sweet music of
the young choir and to s*e the
young deacons respond by lifting
