He attended and graduate from Claflin College and Mehari Medical College in Nashville. Du ing his school days at Meharr. he taught rural school in Term ssi-e-in the afternoons to help f nance his way through school. The groun lunched in Andrews at 12:4^*-* Leaving Andrews at 1:20 p.m. the next points of interest were Georgetown. the Lafayetu- Bridge, the Black River and Wa"?amja\v river. The?' beautiful moss covered trees, winding walkways, art and arrangements of the garden were captivating. Reluctantly the group departed from the beautiful scenery, and ^drifted to view the wild life sec- ? tion. Here they saw reindeer, squirrels, otter, bear, skunk, chipmunk and other animals, aa well as wild geese, ducks and turkies. After marveling a t these sights the group then went tg th? bench, where they beheld the mos\ wonderful sight "The Great Atlantic". Here some gathered sea shells, while others got sand and wat?r. ix>aving tne oeaen at o:au p.m. all heads were turned toward marveled at the aviation field and home. On returning the prroup marveled at the aviation field, and airplane search light.
