and Sunday, June 28-29.

M. Green, the president, was sick
and could not be with us. Devotion
was conducted by Deacons
W. H. Mitchell and Peter Taylor
which was good. After this, Rev.
Rev. Livingston introduced Rev.
T. Jones who was to preach the
introductory sermon.
Rev. A. L. Diggs lined hymn
No. 438. Rev. Jones arose and took
his text from Mark 1:2. "Behold
I send My messanger, etc," from
which he preached a fine sermon
that made us all rejoice. After this
the finance committee was appointed.
They were. Mrs,T. Jones
and Miss Mary Bleasingale. They
came forward and lifted the collection.
The vice president; then
spoke of the president's illness
and?that-he would not be able to
be with us in this union. We all
regretted this^nndashert that?the- union
remember and pray for Rev.
Green. The churches and delegates
were then enrolled and reports

After this the welcome address
was delivered by Mrs. T. Jones
marks by the vice president. "We
then adjourned to meet-at 10:00 a.
