Divine service began_ strictly at 11 o'clock by the pastor who is thorough going. After the devotional part of the service the pas tor ascended the rostrum and delivered a burning message from the text "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers uire few" etc. Everyone expressed himself as being benefited by the sermon. . In this we feel that we have much to be thankful for. Monday was the pastor's birthday. A regular birthday contest was had. Kach person was to guess the pastor's correct age. The one guessing the correct age was to receive the first prize. The on coming nearest blow, the second prize, and the one nearest above, the third prize. i nose wn0 guessed the same thing had t<i compete with each other for the prize Eight persons had to compete for the first prize; five for the second, and three for the third.
