HENNETTSVII.LE NEWS The holidays are all over and everybody back to their regular jobs for another year's work. The weather for the past fey days in our section have reminded us of real winter, however the school attendance have been very good. M iss Helen Byde teacher at the Blenheim ' school spent the holidays in Washington, D. C., with relatives and friends. Mrs. Marie D. Thompson of. New York is home visiting her sick mother, Mrs. Mary Drake. Mrs. Alice Butler and daughters. two sons, Prof. Henry But ler of Morris college and Mr. Bob Butler of Hartsville, Miss Martha Streator were in the city the week end visiting father and other relatives and friends. M iss E. McKay accompanied her niece Miss Gertrude tylae Cunning ham to Winter Haven, Fla. where they spent the Christmas holidays with Prof, and Mrs.. Wright made some very timely remarks. The Christ mas program rendered very in spiringly to the group. A story was demonstrated by pictures by Mrs. Rosa McCullum which held the interest of the entire group. Other numbers appearing were: Miss l!T Pearson, Mrs. Glen, and MeCollum. During the session the group was notified of thej change of the name of the Blenheim school. The school's name was changed to the name 01 "Wright Junior High school" in honor of the principal who has given a long administration of hard and successful work and who was also made District Supt. of the Orangeburg district by the Methodist conference during the session Dec. '40. " The rheeting adjourned to be held ai the Brownville school in January 1941. Remarks were made by our.Supervisor, Miss B. E. Graham.
