E. league opened with the president, Mr. Harry Gore, The lesson was thoroughly discussed. 8:00 .o'clock the pastor ascended the rostrum and preached a soul reviving sermon. Mr. John Hardy passed to the great beyond December 21,^1940 at the Columbia hospital. He leaves to mourn hrs death his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Hardy, one sister and a host of relatives irnd friends. Funeral services were held at Sandy Grove Baptist church (Rev. J. F. Faulk, officiating.. ,, Miss Ella Bland,25, passed away Febriiary 4 in Columbia. Funeral services were held at Sandy Grove Baptist church by her pastor Rev. J. F. Faulk.
