They ren dered a ret-1 musical program.?Agroup of gospel songs, were sung and played by Miss Sallie A. Hill "Creations" and several other read ings were recited by Miss Margaree Jenings and little Bettie Jean Ceiger and last on program wasan instrumental duet piayed^bj Mrs. Blanche Hill and daughteT and after the program was over everybody was standing near the door ready to go, to their surprise the little -well-trained ^Spanish Spitt dog, 8 months old, was rushed into the room hurriedly, jumping thru the hoop and over and standing on his hind leet waiKins v was a game of ball. Dawkins. Mrs. Mary Smith a member of James Chapel Baptist church, died in the Community hospital James Chapel church Monday by Kev. F. I.. Wilkes. Quite a large ,'hwd attended the funeral. Miss Sallie Jeter and little I. Jeter, both are in the Community hospital, but are said to be doi fine. FLINT HILL BAPTIST CHURCH Ko. C. W. (iillaim. Pastor Reverend Porter speaks of his trip to Greenwood and Kershaw Counties. I left Columbia in the rain^and got to my final destination while it was still raining. We stopped over at the home of one of the members of Flint Hill Baptist Church.?R. was still raining and on Monday we were rained completely <mt. The creeks and branches over flowed so much so that the people couldn't cross them to come to service. But the rain - ceased some what on Tuesday and we had a very good service TueSdsiv The proplfa nVinted And the rain ceased and on Wednesday we ' had a large crowd with five converts. We didn't have night service^ and on Thursday we had an overwhelming crowd. With two sermons a day we got ten more converts. Friday they baptized sixteen heads. From there on to Camden in Kershaw County at Nazareth Baptist Church. We had night service and there we Vreached four nights and .took in eight .converts. This church is pas tored by a young man: Reverend Brother Connish. " At both, places f was greeted with the" best of hospitality and from there to Barnwell where we climaxed our service with communion, at Rethelhem Baptist Church where I am now pastoring.
