OWN STORY OF TRIP

since the Fair started.
We marched to the platform
und circled around. Then straightened
the circle to a straight line..
After this, we were called out
singly to be viewed and receive
applause. And herds?where P
won distinction?the title "Miss
Sepia America." I was awarded
a lovely silver trophy and a wrist
watch from the Denner Outfit Co
of that city. I was also given a
contract to appear in a moving
picture, to be produced by the Sepia
Arts^Company, of which Mr.
Green is General Manager. From
then on was a big rush?the Fail
to the local networks, where I
made a short speech. After this
I went to the hotel to make pictures
for Life Magazine. Latei
Mr. Green took us for a tour owi
the city, and to the exclusive
v Night Clubs and tea rooms where
t tne debutantes of Now York us
ually dine.
^ On Friday night, I was guest
of honor on the Omega Boat_ride
up" IKe Hudson River. I met lots
/ of girls and boys, and one of my
h school mates Mr. Robert Ford,
who was elected Student Council j
^ President for next year.
rv I rested Saturday in South Nor- i
walk, Conn.r on a lovely estate |
?r with my uncle Mr. James Foster I
Such a contrast it was to thj? rus j
