there were several from our home
town folks, Mr. Keitt and Mrs

Sunday they will discuss the 1st
Psalm and recite favorite poems
of any author.
Miss Mofiteith has succeeded in
arranging for a course of instruct
ion and training in swimming. She
secured "Pop*' Watson, who w'as
an outstanding athelete of State
College a few years ago.
Last Sundav several church
auxiliaries and clubs made extra
donations to help balance tie- budget
of the church,. The Missionary
Society" led?off with?$5.00.?then
followed the Pulpit Aid with $25,
and the Opportunity Club with
$25. This last club has only 14
members. Thureh thanks these organization.

Mother Jane Stanley passed away
July 5 and leftt a host of
relatives and friends. Funeral
servers were held at Home Baptist
church Sunday July 7, ltev. E.
H. Anderson officiated with many
other visiting ministers.
Mother Stanley was the mother
of 3 daughters, 2 sons, oO grands,
77 greatgrands, 1 great-greatgrand.
The chur^fT was crowdec
to its capacity and was surrounded
outside. She was 100 years old
when she passed. We feel thai
her soul is resting, in the sweetbeyond.
