E>ee Dee Tents
Have Big Rally
What will, in all probability, be
the last of a series of rallies among
the Tents of the Grand U
a;ted Order for this spring was
held in Dillon, (Sunday, April 14.
Tnih war" the best raTTy of "them
all. Six Tents sdnt representatives
and nearly one hundred earnest,
errthtfsiastur Christian wo-1
nen gathered in their comfortable
hall to meet the deputies.
As there were only Tent mem>crs
present the sisters were free
to ask questions whicfc they dia
ind niucn information and instruc
tion was given. All showed a
willingness to learn more abom
this beloved order. Many learn
ed for the first time, that* the
Urnnd United Order of Tents oi
the J. R. J. U. is in its ninety j
'ourth year and has no black mark
if failure attached to its name.
The success of this latest rally
was largely due to the untiring
work of sister Etta Jackson, recently
uppointed a special depu;y
in the Pee Dee district. Sister
Jackson is a t?orn leader and is
leaded for higher things.
Another thing which contributes
to the success of the Pee Dee
section is the unity and co-operition
among all leaders and sis.
.era there. They move as one.
All is in readiness for the Grand
district meeting which convenes
n Charleston, May 6th.
A large Royal Degree Circle
was organized. We shall hear
nore of -this later.
The deputies thanked the various
sisters for their hearty response
and co-operation and assure
them they stand ready to
come at any call.
