Washington and co-workers at their post of duty. The pastor was present and emphasized some very interesting thoughts on the lesson. At thi morning service the spirit was high following the service a short program was rendered with Mrs Geneva E. Davis mistress of cere^ mony. At thiB time the clubs reported: Mrs. (Charlotte Goodwin Captain U. S. club reported $164; Mrs. Eliza Johnson, Captain Germany club reported $12*9. Rev Hollaway has been with us foi only four months. We feel thnt the Lord has put the right man in the right place. We had a nuni ber of visitors during the day a-; mong who were Revs. Hugh, Jones Strotter and Sumpter. Visitor? are always welcome. Both captains thanked their co-workers for helping them put over the wonderful program. The purpose of the drive is for the painting of th* ___ church. Again we want to nk the club for the wonderful service rendered and with such a competent president as Mrs. Jas lildei brand we are expecting even greater and bigger things.
