Guests found their places by
tiny hatchets, which bore their
names. Just after the blessing was _
said, Mr. D H. Babcock presented
to Mr. Leathers a throe-t'er birth

ing tiny pink candles. Mr Leathers
was greatly surprised and before
he cou d speak, from all parts
of th** house. agents showered him
with birthday cards bearing appropriate
sentiment, which each read
as they placed it before him. Mr.
Leathers thanked all who gave, but ' t
