C., December 1030. o MISS NAOMI ROSEMOND LAID TO REST MiSs Naoomi Rosemond died at the Columbia hospital, November 15, 1930. Her funeril was held rt Wesley M. E. church, Friday, Nov. 17, at 4 p.m. Miss Rosemond had not been well for quite a while, although she had only been confined to bed one week before her death. She received her education from Booker Washington* high school jjiJ Browning home. She Aviis converted doihsr her early life which Was manifested in her living day by day. * ? She- w:-s a faithful worker in her church and Sundry school as long as her health permitted her. She also solved as president of the Queoi) Ksthei's society. Her cheerful ways and sunshiny smiles won for her friends among the older people t-s well as the young. She was dearly loved by | al who "knew her. Her death "was I a shock throughout Columbia. I She was laid to rest in the Palmetto cemetery under s. bed of lovelv flowers. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother, "Mrs. L. E. Rosemond three sisters: Frrnceria Rosemcmd ; Caroline Grate and Ruby /Rosemond: two brothers: Fmkrjrk and David Rjsemond; a brotherin-law, Mr. iRjtndolph Grate and true nephew. Frederick Grrte and a host of relatives and friends. Many of them were great evangelists, pitted singers, poweriul preachers, l'oicible orators, able scholars and splendid writers.
